Discovering Discipleship at Ferndale
Becoming a Spirit-Filled Servant of Jesus
—Together We Engage In—
Worshipping God · Welcoming Relationships · Walking with Jesus · Working and Serving · Witnessing to Others
At Ferndale, we believe strongly in the discipleship mandate God has given us. God has made clear in His Word His purpose and will for His church. There are many passages that express God’s purpose for His church, but three passages, in particular, stand out.
#1 The Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20)
#2 The Great Commandment (Matthew 22:37-40)
#3 The Great Example (Acts 2:42-47)
These three passages describe a community of followers of Jesus not only transformed by the gospel of Jesus, but a community committed to transforming their world with the gospel of Jesus. We have personalized Jesus’ mandate to make disciples.
To honour God by being a community of Spirit-filled servants of Jesus Christ who know, grow and show God’s love.

Whether you are new to Ferndale or you have been with us for years, we encourage you to connect and engage with us in one or more of the following areas.
One of the ways Christians bring glory to God is by praising and celebrating the glory of God revealed to us through the person and work of Jesus Christ.
God didn’t redeem us to live as isolated individuals, but He redeemed us to be a covenant community of people who view themselves as God’s family.
